Any Uber/Lyft tips for after the game?

Have a house a little over a mile from the dome, is it best to walk to a certain area to catch a ride back? Any tips appreciated. Thanks.

I typically walk by towards LSU health and UMC and don’t have a problem getting one.

I live in LV but walk towards Tulane between the school and the hospital, straight shot to the interstate.

Walk halfway and examine your surroundings. If it's still crazy, go into a bar and have a drink until things calm down.

I am in a hotel uptown and am dreading the sojourn back after the game/celebration. Dont feel comfortable walking at that hour.

I always catch lyfts/Uber’s at Gavier and S Roman. It’s a block from St Joseph’s in a very well lit area. It’s also very easy to exit onto the interstate or cut through the LSUHSC campus.
ETA: just follow the crowds on Poydras underneath Claiborne and you’ll be right there.

If you are in Mid-City, about a mile from the Dome, you are in the hood anyway. Walk.

Lyft by the dome may be hard. Walk down Poydras and catch one. Or, go get shitfaced in the Quarter after we beat that arse.
