Anyone have an expected time frame for Steve Ensminger to be officially relieved of his duties? Does Vegas have a pool setup for the odds?

As soon as they lock up his replacement he’ll retire. If they don’t land a suitable replacement, he’s gonna stay.

Ensminger has done a good job since he became OC. Some of you people are just dumb.

E doesn’t deserve to be fired. He deserves to step away on his own terms or if it’s mutually agreed that it would be best for the program.

Y’all are blood thirsty on these staff changes.

Emsminger is a great Tiger, it shouldn't be a joke on here about him getting the boot. I agree he needs to move back into his previous role and have someone else come be the OC but I don't think everyone should be trying to kick him out the door.

Mangum or Bleymaier would be nice additions. Move Calloway to PGC and E to another role within the offense

I don't know why. Our redzone play calling was shite, we got way too conservative this year which cost us. No doubt in my mind Brady was telling Ensminger what plays to call and how to attack a defense.

Points scored per game vs. exclusively SEC competition:

34
41
41
52
11
27
7
17
37
53

Much of that with two true freshmen quarterbacks, and youth and inexperience all over the field.

What I find really amazing with this website is how people think businesses are run. If you look at the statistics LSU was horrible on third down efficiency and in the red zone which was specifically what Brady called last year. It also was bad all year but more so during the real games on the schedule which were Alabama Texas A&M and Auburn.

Steve Ensminger is the reason why the offense is bad. He makes no in-game adjustments. You may want to blame the defense because of the points allowed but, The offense has to help the defense by balancing out the time of possession and controlling the clock when needed. It was obvious that LSU couldn’t run the football against a 128th ranked rush defense. That is not online at hand. That is on Ensminger.

Additionally, at any point during the season he could’ve taken over the playcalling on third down and in the red zone. As a manager (or coach), that’s what you do when your employees are failing. He doesn’t care about LSU if he let Linehan continue to call those plays. If he took over playcalling then that statistic is still on him.

He only cared about himself. Orgeron only cared about saving his arse and Ensminger’s
arse by firing Linehan.

Man, some you you people are absolutely pathetic. What E accomplished this year with freshman QB's and a continuously dwindling receiving corps was quite impressive.

College football is a business. The people that have accountability are those that make the decisions and in this case he made a poor decision by either leaving Linehan as the play caller in those situations or calling those plays himself. I don’t care if he bleeds purple and gold or not. He has to be held accountable. If it wasn’t him then his boss has to be held accountable. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 45 years and one thing I can tell you for certain LSU has a problem with holding their fricking coaches accountable. The fans like you believe that just because a guy tries hard and is an Alum, it makes him a good guy and we should just continue to pay his fricking arse. That’s not how this shite works.

Now he has lost players and they quit because he couldn’t make adjustments by taking away a coach from playcalling?
Do you want to change your culture? Change the fricking coaches. I blame Alleva for this bullshite.

To be clear. E isn't getting any boot. Any changes are his choice.
