Are people remembering a different Nussmeier than I saw last season? I don't know what people see in that guy to believe that he's the cure for this offense.

He’s not good
Like even a little bit
Dude has elite arm strength but can’t hit anything under 25 yards consistently

We are just fricked this year

I don’t know but he was on kickoff so he wasn’t suspended or anything. I mean Ali Gaye didn’t miss a snap and god love him but the only time he can get near a QB is if he sneaks into one’s room while they’re sleeping.

That may be, but I would like to see him get a legitimate shot.

Daniels can’t hit anything over 6 yards.

If JD wasn’t hurt, just had limited mobility why didn’t he trust him to make throws?

He was clearly hurt. He was limping around and wincing. Do you really think that doesn’t affect a QB’s ability to do anything other than run?

Regardless, Daniels had a bad outing against Auburn. I’m not here to argue otherwise. That being said, he looked completely different today in terms of decisiveness, trust in his receivers, willingness to take shots, etc.

I don’t get the tunnel vision on the QB position after today’s team performance.

That’s not true, he’s just scared to throw it over 6 yards

Someone must have sent him the Jarrett lee tape from 08’

Game want lost by Daniel’s. Jenkins dropped a TD pass right before half that would have made it a 6 point game. Daniel’s played fine. Not great but fine.

I know why, I watched his games at ASU this summer. When he started throwing it downfield the INTs started.

Howard beats out Daniels in the Spring; Nuss transfers

Looks like only way Nuss plays is if JD gets hurt

Ball was partially deflected off finger other wise Jenkins catches it.

That was a horrible throw and it wasn’t dropped. It was tipped and Jenkins lost it but if Daniels saw the field, put air under it and led him he’d have caught the ball with nobody around him. Instead he jammed into a congested area it got tipped and was incomplete. He doesn’t play his position right, it’s no coincidence all of the sudden all the WRs are having issues.

If Nuss were to show out now halfway through the season then Kelly looks dumb.

He should have caught it. That ball is caught in high school 90% of the time

Why would you think “OK to play” means he wasn’t hurt? People play hurt at less than 100% all the time.

I think you’re reading way too far into those comments in an effort to draw a specific conclusion. He was hurt. It probably impacted his mobility more than anything, but that doesn’t mean his mobility is the only thing it impacted.
