What I find amusing is that they always use the word “miserable” to describe us and yet they always seem like the most angry people imaginable.

That and some, not all, post about the "haters" in the positive threads before they even acknowledge that the news in the thread is actually a positive. Their first thought in a positive thread is, in fact, a negative one.

But someone saying it's just coach speak isn't being negative.
Rarely do coaches come out and say they suck, or his team is lazy. Spurrier, but that's about it as far as recent coaches go.

I realize that you're kinda slow, but that's about as straight forward as can be. Maybe I can dumb it down for you in an example.
A thread gets started about a commitment. Most times, within 4 or 5 posts some idiot posts something like "haters still hating" without ever saying "great job O." Therefore, their first thought is a negative one.

I'm with you, the first negative posts are usually from the same few. They don't even discuss the topic, just come in threads to call out the "haters".

It’s amazing that the dumbest posters on this site get this much attention.
- We compliment anything, post something positive, react with excitement, agree with a known pumper = zero reaction.
- Disagree with one pumper, try to have a rational conversation or debate presenting facts = personal attacks, fake fans, miserable people, rabble rabble rabble.
Look a the OP as an example. He doesn’t even make sense. He began the thread about negativity with negativity. You know what kind of people harp on negativity? Negative fricking people.

Miles lied to fans bigtime...he gave all of us that went to Wisconsin a huge FU. His stubbornness cost him his job. It wasn't just a little white lie, it was a huge deal.

It is funny that you think people who are actually giving O a chance are dumb. I honestly believe most negative people are miserable and generally not very successful in life. Jmo

Yes he did. I think that's part of the reason many are skeptical of off-season comments from coaches. As I said before, it's something all coaches seem to do to sell their team. Orgeron is about as good a sales person as there is and I mean that has a compliment.

I don't mind threads like this. For the most part, it's been pretty rational discussion and why people think the way they do fascinates me, so that's right up my alley.
Smart phones certainly have changed the way I communicate on TD. If there's an interesting thread or two going, I just check it fairly often especually during workouts and never have to sign on or out. If in had to physically start up the laptop or PC I would rarely be on here.

You know what is really funny? That I never spoke of Orgeron in my post.
You’re the prime example of what we’re talking about.
At every chance you look for the oppountiny to turn a conversation into a debate about negativity.
Take a step back and really comprehend the posts. Read the opinions and facts presented that they are based from.
If you don’t agree, that doesn’t mean you’re right. It means you don’t agree.
It doesn’t mean someone is always negative, they’re just having a hard time accepting a mediocre program any longer. I completely understand the frustration.
Plenty people here are very successful people, who have supported the program emotionally and financially for a very long time. You’re really no one to question their passion for the team they’ve been rooting for.
I know it may blow your mind, but people can be judgmental, critical and opinionated about our program and still be very positive people.
