Funny that you only consider a game close if we're losing at the beginning of the 4th quarter.

Oh, and Ole Miss last year we were losing in the 4th. Bitch

Or we are so good that we never get blown out.

If your team loses YOU WANT IT CLOSE.

TCU and FLorida were close untill we pulled away but that isn't how you wan it.

South Carolina and A&M were two score games until we let them drive down our throats in the final two minutes

We were losing to start the 4th quarter against South Carolina, who.happened to be the #3 team in the country at the time.

We had a 2 point lead until scoring a TD to go up 9 with 5 minutes left.

LSU was up 2 until halfway through the 4th quarter at A&M against one of the most explosive players in CFB history before we scored 10 late points to pull away before A&M scored a late TD.

If yall don't consider those close games we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Oh, and I guess Miles deserves credit for blowing out 2 very good teams then right??

What about Auburn and Texas A&M last year?? Or South Carolina and Ole Miss??

You do realize that the A & M and South Carolina games were double digit leads and LSU's offense couldn't get first downs, and LSU's defense gave up TDs late in the game to make both of them close games. Our defense couldn't stop from from scoring late, just like now, we just happened to be up by 11 at the time so it didn't matter as much. But both made it close enough to make us worry and both got the ball back with under a minute with a chance to win.

You should have read through the whole thread before showing how little you remember those games.

Look up

kinda hard to believe the team didn't "want" to win a top 10 matchup against Georgia...

I figured we were referencing losing on last minute drives and things like that. I'd agree that those were close games that our O put out of reach in the 4th credit

and yes, Miles absolutely deserves credit for those games. Everyone thought South Carolina was going to come into our house and beat us. Those are the games where Miles coaches his best, like he will against Bama in 2 weeks

That being said, the trend exists in those games for allowing teams to score in their 2 minute offenses

Since 2005, LSU has had 38 close games...7 points or less difference. They have lost 11 & won 27 or lost 29%; won 71%. Not bad.
