Not sure if you are serious but I have 2 season tickets. I have for years and am not negative about coach or team, but am not able to make it to many games. Not ready to turn my tickets in so I usually sell both tickets before season starts. If the people who bought them last yeR don't want them again, I'll send you an email over the summer.

I think 1&2 are pretty solid evidence that the reason we haven't heard an explanation from Miles is cause any "explanation" would be one that was generally viewed as shite.

Don't be so sure.

You're an idiot. How does Miles playing the player that he believed gave us a better chance to win mean he has no character? That's fricking idiotic. He was doing his job. Whether or not he is right is what should be discussed. Not his character. You can ask anyone who has met Les and they will tell you he is as good of a guy that you could ever meet.

On numerous occasions during the year, Les stated that it would take both QB's to win the NCG. Lee is not a freshman with no experience. He led LSU to an undefeated season until JJ returned.

In the championship game, it is not debatable that JJ was having the worst game of his career and was completely ineffective. He was also clearly unfocused and detached on the sidelines. Can you provide a reasonable explanation as to why Les did not allow Lee even 1 series in the 2nd half, if for no other reason than to provide a spark or just make sure you didn't try every option before conceding defeat?

When the SECCG was WELL IN HAND and he waited until kneel down time to let JL get some snaps after all that JL had done this season, that was one giant frick you and represented DISMAL character.

Look, I'm not saying Lee shouldn't have played. Les screwed up and made the wrong decision. But that doesn't make him a bad person. That's the point I'm trying to make.

Basically I'm saying that his coaching decisions does not equate to his character. They really can't be compared at all.

You're reading into it too much. I'm sure if Les could do it again, he would do things differently. He was just trying to get Lee out on the field.

Explain how he did the same thing to J Lee at last year's Cotton Bowl?

We don't beat Tenn, Fla or bama without J Lee. NO debate.

And his reward for doing his part to get the team there, take a knee on the last play of the Cotton Bowl.

J Lee has had WAY MORE CHARACTER than Miles.

And it's still on display.

I don't think any of those outrageous comments come from real football fans, only from those who see QBs as black and white and it is not related to the last game either.

How do none of yall understand the difference between coaching decisions and character? Of course JL played a key role in lots of LSU wins over the past 2 years. But at the end of the day, Les believed JJ was better and played him because of that.

This is big time college football. The best players play. In Miles' mind that was JJ. No disrespect was meant to JL at all.

I hear you. And until this year, I felt the same as you. But it's painfully evident to me that he played favorites this year, and punished players of higher character he apparently disliked. That's a character issue and it cost the team in the end.

If he has a legit explanation he should share it. So far, he has lied, another character issue.

I don't think he played favorites. We have 2 mediocre QBs and he felt the one could run and open up our running game was the better one. Which makes sense and pretty much was proven true until the last 2 games.

And T-Bob was probably one of his favorite players too. If he were playing favorites, why did his playing time disappear? Same could be said for RS.

What kind of "coaching decision" is there to put in a kid who got you where you are?

Cotton Bowl last year.
Senior Day this year.
SEC Title game this year.

Miles FAILED MISERABLY in this regard. This was not a case of "coaching decisions".

Even the less-passionate fans who never complain think his attitude toward J Lee was ridiculous.

When I hear 70 yr old women making the comments, you know there is an issue.

No question in regards to starting JJ. That's reasonable. But why, at no point whatsoever in the game, does be not give Lee 1 series? Just 1? Name one other coach that wouldn't at least try to spark the team with a guy that started the majority of the season and was undefeated, and a senior? Just in case he had a hot hand? It makes no sense, except he was trying to
prove a point.
