He may have connected with players, but I’d be surprised to see anything public.

There was a brief mention in an Advocate story that he watched the game from home. Nothing further was noted, but apparently he at least answered Sheldon Mickles' phonecall asking if he watched.

I talked to a player after the game they haven’t heard from him, nor he believed the coaches. Said player looked sad at the fact wade isn’t there with them.
