I said at the beginning of the year Blue is not built for inside running and his body won't hold up. He has good height but has that upright running style at times. He seems to get pounded when he runs inside. If Blue keeps running inside he won't survive next year.

What?? Surely our esteemed coaches wouldn't stoop to such gimmicks when we can just power over someone.

Only if he runs on the field and carries the other running backs who have the ball...or becomes Mrs. Miles baggy boy.

Blue hurt his leg, anything can happen to your legs no matter who you are. He is tough and shifty with really good speed. I think under a line with at least a year of experience at almost all positions, both Blue and Hill could be the next RB tandem(providing Miles doesn't try to make everyone happy.

slackhouse, what you are asking is logical, and Miles is not logical.

I'm sure I'll get bashed for this, but I still like Alfred Blue more than I do Hill......and I think Hill is fantastic.

Blue is 220lbs and pretty physical. He runs upright, but so does Adrian Peterson

Assuming he's healthy, he could easily start.

I like how the idea of keeping fresh legs in the game is ignored for the 25 carries approach.

Les uses primary backs. Hester, Scott, Ridley. Spencer ware had 20 plus carries in every game last year that wasn't a huge blowout up till his suspension.

I think they are both great backs, but what exactly does Blue have that Hill doesn't?

Blue has more breakaway speed, or at least he appeared to before the injury.

I'm really not sure about that. Hill's run away from defenders a few times this yr.

both are excellent backs... Blue also is an excellent blocker, and would take him over Hill as a blocker
