Y'all are seriously taking up for Antonio Brown?

"We've got to band together. Us and the rich blacks who know our ways."

Seriously though, I wonder what we'd be hearing if she were white? Just saying the obvious since literally most of the responses already doubt the FORMER LSU TIGER.

So it’s a money grab?

Sounds like they had been friends or acquaintances for quite a while. I'm speculating based on the two articles that I read on it from the NY Times and Yahoo.

More retardation

I'm suspicious of anyone who claims they were assaulted long after the event and after they still spent time with the alleged perp.

See Christine Blasey Ford. BTW: she's white

This is not about guilt, per se. It's a civil Lawsuit where the burden of proof is by a preponderance of the evidence.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a criminal investigation now based on the allegations in the complaint.

Yeah Rog. Seems as if she either was scared to come forward against such a high profile athlete with loads of money and can hire a ton of legal counsel or she's pissed that he wouldn't invest in her business venture and it is a money grab.

The first two were kissing and touching without her wanting him too and him jerking off on her back. Guess she was getting paid to be his trainer and she was putting up with it until he raped her. She says she was swayed that the advances would stop. Here's the article...

There's a lot more to the story than that. AB is countersuing for extortion.

Rich dudes are hating the #metoo movement. It's probably cheaper to settle than fight.

Wouldn't he be expected to countersue even if he's guilty to try to get out of it? I'm not sure how all of that works.

Not for extortion unless she went to him trying to blackmail him. This is all a Civil suit, which is really strange for a sexual assault.

If she has verifiable texts, And this can be proven that they came from him, then this is not good. On the other hand, the patriots, one would think are very good at vetting this sort of thing. But on the other hand, they did have a murderous tight end playing for them.

Why would you trust someone after they already assaulted you?

but how is there 3 separate incidents with one woman?

First began concentual

2nd was weird enough for her to not come back

3rd time she had an agreement that it would stop. He had sex with her telling him, "no."

What's not to understand here?

Reading between the lines it seems as if she was trying to become a trainer and/or start some sort of business in that profession and didn't want to lose a high profile client. Probably thought she could gain access to more athletes through her relationship with AB.

So basically she was ok with his actions.

He threatened his GM in front of the whole team with physical violence...you don't think he would commit sexual Assault in private?

It’s amazing she was raped three times and kept going to his house.

I recall a situation happening where a guy was hitting his girlfriend in public late one night and someone saw and started attacking him in her defense. The woman started fighting the guy with her boyfriend.

People don't always behave in predictable ways.

That seems like a reach. There are Plenty, if not most people who have gotten into arguments that don’t sexually assault people.

I'm taking up for no one

after AB's recent behavior I could definitely see him using his stature to get a little more than personal with women and going further than desired

but... I definitely have doubts about an accusation of a very criminal nature immediately bypassing a police report... let alone criminal trial... and going straight to civil lawsuit
