Youve said a lot of bull shite in this thread. the end result is Mett on the bench.
This isnt pro sports, you dont get anything for losing more games than everyone. You put the guy out there that will get us the best chance to win. You go into next year with 10 wins and bowl victory over a nebraska or michigan.

1) I'd be surprised if Mett is injured to the point he can't play after a bye. I think these are just games Les is playing with A&M staff.
2) Jeremy Hill + McGee + whoever else are going to tear us a new one running the ball. I expect 300+ rushing yards against us and at least 3 TD by Hill.
3) Like most of our Ls to good teams: if we lose the turn-over differential, game over, LSU wins.

yes mett on the bench for a series, the horror of going to a change of pace to get aj some experience. yes qbs have had success even without the experience but its not going to hurt us to play him for a series. Its not even a frick you to mett to give AJ a series at some point. Mett isn't a baby and he understands that LSU will be playing next year even with him gone.

Really? Who said he was injured? I havent seen anything official from LSU. So basically its the same pussy classless fans. Deep down inside they are getting giddy about jennings, not giving two shits about mett.

I disagree. Hill is running soft since he got taken out for the fumble against Ole Miss. McGee will run hard, But Hill is Done.IF Miles doesn't get this teams minds right they will get crushed by A & M.

Mett is playing well but he should have had 3 picks vs Bama and had 3 vs Ole Miss. I still don't advocate benching him. My issue was more playing time for Jennings in easier games. It is what it is. It's too late now. I am looking for the offense to take a step back next year. I think Jennings will have growing pains. Also our wide receivers are very unproven.

I'm very proud of Mett for this season, he did a phenomenal job. If he's hurt or on the verge I would rather he not play, I want the guy to be able to have an awesome pro career. It's also a positive for Jennings to get valuable reps so that he's not thrown into the fire in Lambeau against Wisconsin.

No but the dude is a warrior and prob wont take kindly to someone stealing his snaps if hes not hurt. Which at this point you have no idea. The dude has been wearing a knee brace since hes been here. Hes prob been hurt every game. Why bench him now. And now benching him doesnt mean for ever, but giving another player reps over you for absolutely no reason is benching.
You guys say miles benched hill, yet hes played in every game. Whats the diff here? Your agaisnt benching hill, which is exaclty what miles did, but all for benching mett, which if you give reps to Aj in anything but mop up duty, is benching mett. Its the same thing, whether its for a whole game or a couple of plays.
