Maybe. But I think that would only be for the 1st drive. You don’t cut off your nose to spite your face. That said, I do think we’re gonna see Tre Wilson get more involved. He’s been on the verge of breaking out. It’s gonna happen eventually.

He came back in the McNeese game and made a catch to extend a drive. Lane then pulled him as the game got further out of reach.
I think the message was already sent so I expect Watkins out there to start the game unless Lane sees more loafing plays on film review.

Watkins runs great routes when he has actual routes. Its when he is running faux routes on designed runs, or rub/distraction routes in other plays is where he gets lazy.
