Another sad part about missing out on the World Series

People in Omaha have a close relationship with LSU for the World Series. Going back to the old stadium, with LSU fans having cookouts in the area, and having a great time win or lose, the Nebraska people had a team to cheer for.
It didn't change in the move to the new stadium. Fewer cookouts in yards and tailgating, but more bar and restaurant fun.
On top of it all, the LSU fans came ready to spend money.
I would guess outside of Louisiana, Nebraska probably has the most fans disappointed in the Tiger's season.

I get what you’re saying but Nebraska is hosting a regional this year. I’d imagine they have to be pulling for them. Them being close could make up for some revenue lost

I obviously wrote a poorly worded post. I wanted to let LSU fans know how much Nebraskans like having the Tigers at the World Series each year, and it goes far beyond just the money.
LSU fans bring fun and excitement to the city during the Series, and they will be missed this year.
