I like it but it's start to look a little bush league, like we've never been there before

I think just like fans they have heard all the trash talk from former players in the nfl and media about LSU being down and not on the same level.

You can’t buy that kind of advertising for recruiting.

Two weeks in a row that LSU has been all over espn.

Les miles didn’t welcome former players who played for nick saban.

I don’t think he really welcomed former players at all.

It's starting to be a little too much. Let's focus on celebrating after we win the CFP

8 years is a long time. Half of our school aged children have never gotten to see it.

You are correct! You had skyler green cheering for Bama when Saban got to Bama then last year coach O invited him to talk to the team. He is all LSU again. You can’t have support from your former players if you don’t make them feel welcome after all the blood, sweat, and tears. Coach O invited him and all the former players and he embraced all of them.

I know, it's kind of depressing to think I won't live long enough to see the series anywhere near evened up

Wasn't a Saban thing. He didn't make an effort to include former players in his program. Saw it as a distraction and didn't think it was important to do.

Orgeron took the Pete Carroll/Saban/Miami approach and makes a big effort to include them. Invites them to practices, sends them swag packages, field passes to games, etc.

He's also hired quite a few to staff. Faulk, Lacouture, Dwayne Thomas, etc.
