Another poster got me thinking: the one pass Casey Taber ever threw.

Correct me if there were more, but I only remember one. Anyone know the one I’m talking about?

An absolute dime at a critical point in the game, but dropped. Never saw Casey again. Anyone else vividly remember this bit of Tiger trivia?

Wasn't my thread. Somebody name dropped him and I found it amusing. I'll edit the title if it'll help you sleep better.

Pretty sure it was during the 1994 season as LSU finished 4-7. CT was a Freshman and had 1 att. / 0 completions for the year. My suggestion, do some i-net research and go through each game's play x play to find the answer to your query. Once you identify the game, you might be able to re-watch said play on YouTUbe. Where is he now - Casey is an orthopedic surgeon in SATX.

Speaking of 1994, QB - Melvin Hill, that's a name I haven't heard in a loooooong time. His brother Chris played WR @ LSU, and I remember him being in a bad car crash right before the 1997 Independence game vs. Notre Dame

Oh I know the answer—I wanted to see if anyone else did.

He was 0/1 against A&M in the season opener. That pass was perfectly placed to Shedrick Wilson late in the game, after we had just fallen behind.

A catch would have given us 1st down in the red zone, but Shed dropped it.

Heartbreaking loss.

He threw just one that I remember, vs A&M first game 1994. It was about a 50-yard pass, in the 4th quarter with about a minute to go in the game, and hit the WR right in the breadbasket inside the Aggy ten! Trouble was, it was dropped. A sign 'o' the times--what could have been, with the right coach and the right jersey color.

I remember the pass. The Tigers were driving toward the South endzone and he hit a receiver in stride down the LSU sideline when he dropped it. Lol. Remember, this was the Curley Hallman years.

Casey Taber, that’s pretty random but not as random as Juan Telechia.
