Another Claim 1908 Post!

Claiming 1908 would put LSU football into the same number of national championships as programs such as Nebraska and Miami. The great Doc Fenton was also retroactively given the Heisman that year. The 1908 team out scored its opponents 442-11. I see there being zero disadvantages to claiming the 1908 title. The 1908 team should be respected with the recognition they deserve... the NCAA even claims us as winning that year! There is even a blank placard next to the 2019 placard waiting to be engraved. I’ve emailed Woodward but no response of course.

There’s an effective way to do this.
Just start claiming it. There’s no need to wait for LSU or anyone else to give you permission to claim 1908. Just start claiming it yourself and it will spread. From now on, in casual conversation, always say that LSU has five national titles. 1908, 1958, 2003, 2007, 2019.
Do not let yourself be swayed. Never relent. Never entertain the argument against it. Eventually people won’t care enough to oppose you. They won’t have the energy for it.
How do I know it works? ULL has successfully won the war over the University of Louisiana name using the exact same tactic. There was even a law passed saying they couldn’t use that name. They just ignored it until everyone gave up opposing it. Now ESPN and everyone other than us simply calls them “Louisiana.”
Your willpower for change simply has to be stronger than the will to resist it.
I will start the ball rolling and say it loud and proud:

With some of the titles alot of other schools claim, we should claim all that we can. Bc they do and flaunt it, so should we.

Exactly, ole miss claims they have three titles. They legitimately only have one. Tennessee claims they have six while they only have like two.

1935 and 36 are not lame. We are listed as champions by one of the services ranking teams of those times. Williamson Systems and Sagarin placed LSU #1.
The 1962 championship was through Berryman QPRS which been around since 1920.
