The options are to keep complaining about it and keep losing or adjust to the game. Players might have to take a different approach at the plate. Focus on hitting more low line drives, going opposite field with outside pitches, shorten their swings at times, etc. Players will have to be able to adapt in order to become more complete hitters.

I have been screaming this for years now. Trust me, I'm with you on that one.

Why were we in the loser's bracket? Yes or No. LSU should have had 3 home runs by the end of the 4th inning Sunday?
8-12 ft and LSU playing baseball skull drags UCLA.

Anyone saying "oh, they hit a HR" is full of shite.

Didn't one of the announcers say Ibarra is 0-2 with 2 home runs

It's not fun to watch anymore. Yes, part of this is sour grapes over LSU eliminated but that UCLA / LSU game was like watching softball.

True but we were blaming the difficulty of hitting homers so in that context....

True, but we did not make many coaching adjustments. We needed to play a slightly different style than what we normally play.

how many opposite field home runs did you see this year? I don't remember seeing one. It's something these bats and ball took away from the game. Im not for a homerun every at bat but when a pitcher makes a mistake and a hitter makes him pay it should leave the park.

Bunting the 3,5,6 hitters regardless of situation couldn't have done any worse.

Not trolling, really just asking cause it's something I noticed. I get that center is deep at 408, but the lines and alleys are 335' and 375' respectively. Where that ball was caught for the ncstate shot was between the line and the alley.
My question is "what's different from that and a ball hit in the same spot at the tigue or Alex box?" Both fields have the same line and alley dimensions

Rosenblatt had a ton of wind that would take balls out of the park.

This park has little wind and when it gets wind it usually knocks balls down rather than taking them out like Rosenblatt or the Box.
