While I don't doubt every team is "sharpening their knife", Ole Miss is the only SEC team we play that returns more starters than us, so I don't think it's unreasonable to think our "knife" should still be sharper than most of our opponent's.

I think we are undefeated going into tuscalossa. Win that and things look good, lose that, and we could be looking at 4 losses to end the year.

This thread is telling of the mindset of LSU fans. We bring in ridiculous talent, have outstanding assistant coaches and yet everyone says somewhere between 8-4 and 10-2.
I get it that QB play sucked last year. But Harris has the talent. Be glad Jennings screwed up early in the summer so there is time for Harris to be ready.
We have a great o line and running backs. We have a lot of great looking WRs who look to bust out. We have a top notch secondary and look solid upfront on D. If we get decent QB play and LB play, the sky is the limit.
Quit with the ho-hum predictions of a season where you know if your prediction is true it is a disappointment. This team is competing for the SEC title this year.

I will be disappointed regardless if they don't at least get to Atlanta. So will everyone one here. This team has the talent and coaching to win me all and so at worst I predict one loss. Everyone on here saying 8-4 thinks the same way. They just want to appear objective. Only Alabama has more talent and better coaching top to bottom. And we have been so close to beating those guys but for third and Chavis.

Okay we'll have home field advantage. But it's the third game of the year and LSU's offense is a huge question mark. Fournette might be able to make plays. But he can't carry the entire offense.
Auburn returns 8 starters on defense and the largest question mark I have for them is if Muschamp can get the most out of them.

Until the team proves me wrong, I will continue to be realistic about our chances with the current group of QBs. We lost at least 4.
