LSU v Alabama 1998

By far the Florida game this year. I'm a senior and haven't been to a bowl game as a student yet and was beyond excited to head to New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl with all my friends and family. I was also very excited to put an end to all the talking from earlier in the year due to the hurricane. When it was over I just couldn't believe we lost, after all of the talking, being so ready for the sugar bowl, dominating them on the field, being 100% positive we would score with two chances to punch it in, I just couldn't believe that we lost. I was pouty the rest of the day.

This is the answer for me as well and like you said it should be close.

I was sure we were going to win, but I wasn't mad that we didn't. Our preparation and execution on offense this year were wildly inconsistent. It was always clear that Florida's defense would be the deciding factor in that game.

I had sick to my stomach physical pain after that Arkansas game in 2007. It wasn't just the loss, but what that loss represented at that moment-the loss of opportunity to play in the NC game.

BCSNC against bama in 12 and it's not even close.

Probably not as bad as the others...
But that play calling in the last drive of that Chic Fil A bowl loss vs Clemson was pathetic. I knew then that our play calling was among the worst in America.

Another uplifting thread at Christmas time...lol. Tiger fans are h most masochistic in the world.
A couple of facts: 1) The 2009 game was difficult when Jefferson spiked the ball. But even if it would have been snapped, the clock would have run out because there was only a second left in the game and once the ready for p,as started the second would run off before the ball would be snapped. LSU messed up by letting time run off the clock the play before. With 3 seconds left, you can snap and spike the ball, but I don't expect most all of to know that.
2) in the 2005 against Tennessee, a poster said that Les Miles was trying to run out the clock, but an interception thrown by Jamarcus's Russell with the Tigers up, 24-14, lead to a Tennessee touchdown. There were 7 minutes left at the time. Had they been more conservative, they win that game. Also, LSU was physically spent from having to deal with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
3) LSU vs. Alabama in 2012, yes, the fact that they don't get one more first down hurt because they didn't run out the clock, but if Drew Alleman does not miss two chip shot field goals, everything els doesn't matter. That one to me still hurts the most with the 2014 game against the Tide close behind.
Enough of these downe threads

2012 Bama game. We're driving. It's 4th and 1. Ware's in the wild cat. He runs it right into the teeth of Bama's defense. For three days, I envisioned him doing a little pop pass to the tight end. It would have been perfect.

quote:LOL at the Bama losses. At least lost to legit power.
Angriest you've ever been after a game
Measure that vs a Homecoming loss to a UAB program in existence for only 11yrs, 7 years removed from Div3, and 4 years from Div2.
A loss of that magnitude is akin to getting your grown arse kicked by a 5th grader.

Most of the 2009 season watching dumb dumb hold onto the ball instead of throwing it

It used to be anytime we lost to Bama because I had to live among them, but now I've come to realize it's just a game and the only people I was upsetting was myself and those closest to me. Not worth it! Will always love LSU, but my days of acting like an idiot are over! Geaux Tigers forever!

06 Auburn. One game I truly believe the refs decided the outcome of that game.
Arkansas last year. Les was done and we had Joe fricking Alleva in charge. I knew we were finished.

Alabama 2012. Listening to the bama fans do their roll tide thing back and forth in the south end zone to each other after the game was maddening. Took forever to get out of the stadium because it was so full. Worst experience I ever had in TS.

2007 Arkansas ... not me but my husband. He NEVER shows much emotion at a game. Seriously. But after that game we were in our SEZ seats waiting to work our way down to leave and he starts YELLING "take your arse back to Michigan Les ... just get out". My kids had never seen their dad so angry.
To make matters worse, I-10 Basin Bridge was closed due to the well blow out so we had a LONGER ride home than normal down Hwy 190. That sucked.
We still pick on him about it to this day.

Bama, at home, to clinch everything. Winning the whole game. Their pussy qb on the bench CRYING! and all we need is 1 yd for a first down. Game over, right?
Nope! Les ran 2 fricking plays that looked drawn up in the dirt, one on 4th. Bama gets the ball and shoves it up our arse to win on a simple fricking rb screen play after we go Chavis prevent.
