that finger chasing bit during the National Championship was unforgivable in my view.
Was it also unforgivable when Clark did almost the same thing earlier in the 2023 NCAA Tournament?

Wild that you didn’t list her charitable contributions or anything positive. That she has turned her cyberbullying from people like you into money for less privileged.
Because people like you only look for negative. Crazy how that works.
Good for her! didn't know until you posted it.
It's okay I don't watch the Atlanta women's pro basketball team...And Reese being on the team doesn't move the needle one bit. I am totally uninterested in the WNBA...but if Clark is playing, I am midly interested.
I gave you additional reasons Reese isn't well liked on this board.
You can call me or others racist all day.... I am unphased by it.
Did you find it entertaining Reese followed Clark around with the ring finger gesture 45 seconds before the game ended, or did you go "oh, that's not too classy" ???

A college kid competing for a championship and getting caught up in a moment of emotional immaturity is unforgivable to you? Is Tim Tebow dead to you because he did the phone call gesture?

Perhaps you are answering your own question, then?
I didn't see Clark follow this black player to the bench in her face the whole time during a time out....
maybe you should rewatch what Reese did as a national champion?
A hand gesture after a big shot is done all the time
I am referring to a taunting in victory as a national champion...not for 2 seconds but for like 30 seconds during free throws with 45 seconds left in the game
She followed Clark around the court....
the national media talked about it for days...

What?
The LSU students were calling his phone number all week leading up to the game....
You people need to put on your thinking caps

You don’t have to like what Reese did, but to say it’s “unforgivable” is what I find a little ridiculous. She was an immature college kid and let her emotions get the best of her. You can come back from that.

Angel is shooting 40% from 3 for her career in the playoffs. Caitlin Clark is 27% from 3 for her playoff career.

You have to be smarter than this. I really hope you are not the clown that your take on this suggests. The young woman's success has nothing to do with race. 30 points and 16 rebounds in a Professional Championship game is not accomplished because she is black, blue, brown, or pink and its definitely not a bad player today because she did something to a white girl on the court during a championship game at age 19. Really?? Wake up man. Be mad about racism all you want but leave this young woman to her success today.

I don't think I ever hated a sports league until the WNBA.

all things are forgivable- pour choice of words. That said, did she ever say "I shouldn't have done that, I got caught up in the moment" And the apology should go to Clark, right?
... no, Reese didn't apologize, she actually went the opposite direction if you listened to her post game comments....
I just hated to see that i that moment...as a proud LSU fan. I was happy for LSU and the players...didn't like the taunting.
Imagine Joe Burrow going over to the Clemson sideline taunting the other players or the other QB before the game is over? Now imagine if the Clemson QB was also black...how would that go over? (it would have been an ugly scene, no?? ) It would been a massive story and people would think less of Joe if he did that... instead Joe went to his coach with the ring gesture not the other team's face. Victors celebrate not taunt...
You see, when you think about the context of what happened in that moment, you realize it was way out of bounds for any champion to do, she was given a pass because she was black ...
Disagree?
If Clark did this to Reese in victory, can you imagine the hatred for Clark?
think on it...

So basically it’s okay when Caitlin does it. Okay we got it, you can stop bitching now.

Was it childish, sure.
Kind of like the whole Sophie Cunningham pointing thing.
It is part of women's basketball now, unfortunately.

And threw a temper tantrum when she didn’t get the ball. And walked off the court for the natty. frick Angel Reese and you clowns that keep making these threads

I guess the trolls got the best of me today...
I am going to go back to
I wish her well...
I have no interest in sports at this time except for LSU football

She follow Clark around during the free throws and time out as players were coming off the court to close the game out
I couldn't believe she wasn't given a tech....LSU was up 20
the refs probably wanted to get out of there....

Wrong, we hate inner city black culture that is a cancer on this country...
No. You hate it. Young white America is heavy into appropriation of black culture in music, style, urban lexicon, etc. FWIW, many black people despair over the terrible cycle of the inner city. Just as may white people despair over the terrible cycle of job loss for non-college educated and rural folks.
quote:
most of this country who spends money on sports entertainment are white males and females, and yet the WNBA is trying to stiff arm white people, especially white males who tune into watch one of the very few white stars in a mostly black lesbian basketball league which has white lesbian head coaches who support TRans people.
This is all fabricated to use it as another wedge. Your take is as backwards as it can be but you're too caught up in the culture wars.
quote:
Why would white men be interested in a mostly black female league ?
The WNBA doesn't need them. Attendance for the WNBA is growing.
quote:
Reese just isn't very well liked at the end of the day. She does have more followers on Instagram than Clark does....
Reese's apparel sales are pretty solid no one is going to overtake the great white hope of Caitlin Clark who is by far the most popular WNBA star even though she's not the league's best player as great as she is. Cunningham's very popular but that's due to right wing, culture war shite and the fact that she is somewhat hot.
All of this is immaterial. Angel lead us to our only National Title. She is great Tiger.
The dry cleaner called. They said your white robe and pointy head cover are ready to pick up.
