Rhule and Brady both use Trace Armstrong as an agent. So does Tom Herman. That’s what this is all about

Exactly! Connect the dots people.
Brady is in a big position of leverage against LSU. And how do you create greater leverage? By telling the current employer that another employer wants to pay your employee more money to come work for them. Clearly the bluff that other colleges are looking to hire Brady as a HC or OC has fizzled out to the point that such stories are unbelievable. So the agent, Trace Armstrong, is trying to create leverage via NFL openings.
But let's think about it. How realistic is it to believe that Matt Rhule, in his FIRST NFL HC job is going to give control of the offense to a guy who has never been a LONE college OC? Certainly it is possible, but is Carolina going to want to pay the huge sum for that guy to outbid LSU?
Brady's agent is Trace Armstrong. A guy who seems to be slowly gaining a reputation as an untrustworthy POS. See the Rhule hire. He strung the Giants along a bit. Then, when they were going to interview Rhule he hit them with the news Carolina was offering a 7 year deal. NY ending their pursuit of Rhule because they weren't going to agree to a 7 year deal with any coach. You'll also remember that Armstrong was the guy who (though not given credit for it) did everything he could to get Texas into the bidding war for Herman after it appeared he had agreed to LSU.
Armstrong is going to work every angle to get Brady a huge deal. That's understandable. Woodward will eventually have a decision to make as to when to call Armstrong's bluff. Assuming the money is equal, the ball would then be in Brady's court to think about trying to go to Carolina and doing what he did at LSU in the NFL....WITHOUT a QB comparable to Burrow at the NFL level. You don't think Carolina (and other teams) haven't long been trying to replicate the Saints offense? Answer: they have. The problem is that becomes hard to do when you don't have a HOF QB executing what is drawn up on paper.
Brady has had a tremendous year. I, like everyone else, want him to remain at LSU. But don't think for a second his job wasn't made 100x's easier by having a QB who could execute it ALL. His offense may be FAR less effective without a QB to orchestrate it.

Hard to see him staying
with the way the NFL is now, he could be a HC in no time

If he leaves, I could see Munoz taking over. He must have had a big impact on Burrow because he was at the Heisman ceremony.

I’m still not convinced he’s the one calling the plays. Sure he may be the one sending the play down, but I suspect JB has a lot more input into the call than they let on.

The average NFL OC makes $1 mil.
This is false. This may be the number for the Packers because they are the only publicly owned team in the NFL. Teams can pay whatever they want and we may never know.

Like it was said in a great movie.." I'm not here to save Rambo from you, I'm here to save you from him." Think about it.

Matt Rhule will last two years tops in the NFL.
I'll take that bet. He's got a 7-year contract.

i posted this in another thread...so ill put it here too
The only person we will have to worry about is David Tepper(Panthers owner). Matt Rhule and Joe Brady share the same agent. It has been noted that Rhule was supposed to go to NY to interview after the Carolina interview...Tepper told Rhule he aint leaving and will give him the amount of money that will make him cancel the NY Meeting....
David Tepper is a guy were money doesnt mean crap to him...he will over pay just to have something....
-Not sure if true but ive heard the story about him not getting a promotion and going to buy the guys house that got the promotion from his ex wife just to demolish it.....it was worth 40million dollars...you cant compete with someone like that...Also was told that when he left New Jersey the state had to redo there budget due to not receiving his taxes anymore...
I aint saying Brady leaves or not but that one is the one to worry about

It's just that easy, huh?
Never said it was easy.
Do you believe he would have been successful with Etling, Jennings, or Harris and the receivers we had prior to Chase, Jefferson, and Marshall.
He came with the perfect cast to promote his system.
