Seems like bad news outweighs good news for LSU fans. Never ends

Hopefully he’s fishing for a raise and he’s given one

Losing Raymond sucks, but it's not the end of the world. If you're an elite school with elite assistants, attrition is just a natural consequence of success.

I've been highly critical of Orgeron's hiring practices. Raymond leaving gives Orgeron a shot at shutting me up.

Look at the positives, my man.

Stop acting like a 5 year old girl. Coaches don't last forever but this seems to be a money move.

I wouldn’t say it outweighs all the positive news

If he's happy here, he shouldn't be looking for a job. And if his wife makes as much as they say she does here, why would he be looking for job in another state?

Seems like a money and respect move to me. He wants more of both.

It isn’t bad news unless he leaves.
We just got 2 seniors back at very important position needs.
I’m still happy.

The positive effect Corey Raymond has had on LSU is vastly overrated

Give me a break asswipes

LSU is DBU because of its location, not because of one coach

He is easily replaceable

All I'm going to say is this, Busch never got an interview at UGA. If Kirby offers Raymond, that tells you a lot. We plucked Busch from freaking Rutgers.

Maybe she can make more in Georgia? IDK.

Orgeron will get another chance to get yet another coach on staff to build this program up. LSU survived losing Frank Wilson -- they'll survive losing Raymond, IMO.

This fan base has the mentality of a 15 year old girl. A hundred positive things can happen and one negative and they will say it is the end of the world and start drama.

So? Good coaches come from all over.

And there are better ways to ask for more money than an interview with a rival.

This would hurt years to come. Might start with the Cali DB.
