The fact the staff feels the need to flip the script/change so much stuff tells you exactly that miles didn't care what his assistants thought, it was going to be his offense and his way and you need to "execute" it.

I agree. It's pretty telling.

Or it means O is trying to win over fans by saying "I hear you", in order to create a grassroots campaign to drop the interim tag. He knows it's an uphill battle even if he gets them playing well, and really needs the fanbase to lobby for him.

Yes he did. Along with the usual Sadie.

Evil Twin and Coach O's first exchange as per Scott Rabalais.......

Evil Twin to Coach O:
Comment ca va, coach?
Coach O:
Ca va bien, vieux. (Doing well, old man)
Probably first for #LSU coaching show: Cajun French.

this is why I feel like a lot of the "zomg Miles is the greatest guy" stuff is totally ridiculous.

I mean, I'm sure the guy cares about his players and loved coaching at LSU, but he epically failed to keep up with the profession and didn't even try to fix it. I mean thanks for not being a total a-hole, but so much talent and effort was wasted because Miles wanted to be Bo Schembechler.

a ton of the stuff he had us doing was insane in 2016.

After the Auburn game I was really looking forward to hunting season and not having to worry about missing a game. All this talk about changes and having an offense has me wanting to believe this season can still be somewhat salvaged, but I just don't know if I want to get my hopes up again that something will change and things will be better. I have been burned so many times in recent years...Screw it, I'm in Coach O, Geaux Tigers!!!
