I don’t think you’re lying. You just provided no context other than parking at WD on Burbank.

If you live in an apartment on Ben Hur or off of Brightside, your ability to drive home after a game is essentially non-existent. When one of my friends lived in a complex on Brightside, he figured out that he had to just suck it up and ride his bike to and from games, or he had to hang out somewhere near campus until after midnight when the roads would reopen. It was impossible to get home after a game.

I said earlier in this thread living in Riverbend might be the only place inconvenienced.

Can you not turn off Nicholson southbound on Bob Petit and cut through Tigerland?

No, you cannot. It is usually blocked.

left at halftime. So what. Had weinersnitzel and went home and watched 4th quarter. It’s my prerogative I can do what I want to do

Youre absolutely right. And we can bust your balls for it as well.

These are the little things that do suck. Again, I’m not saying it’s perfect but the complaints I see are typically from people who don’t park in the right location.

A portable sign that says “local traffic only no reentry to contraflow” would work there

He could turn left onto Brightside from River Road.

Folks who leave at halftime aren’t LSU football fans. They’re at the game to be seen or simply drink. ??

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The contraflow giveth and the contraflow taketh away. Some games they won't let people make a left off of River Road and force everyone to go all the way down to the Casino.

The only thing I can think of to help alleviate some of this is for the AD to work with people and make neighborhood specific passes that would let you through a barricade.

Or, at least street specific. Problem with that is if you get stuck behind people without that pass, 100% likely, you're still stuck.

That will never work because it would require our flat-footed bernie fife wannabes to get out of their air-conditioned dodge chargers and rub two braincells together long enough to make a judgment call on whether or not to let someone through.

Seriously, those a-holes can’t even be bothered to look behind them for five seconds to see that the lot they’re closing off at 3:00 isn’t even half full. They just know they’ve got orders to shut it down when it gets full at 3 reality be damned

After UGA last year they had Dalrymple west of Highland being sent south on Highland for the first time ever.

Only problem is there’s nowhere to go southbound on highland. Cop chewed me out for arguing with him and after about 10 minutes he finally figured it out once people were going around his barricade to go straight on Dalrymple.

I remember when the ban of alcohol sales in the stadium was the blame....

Can’t use that excuse anymore....

And guess what? People still leave....
