If coach O is successful I don't give a hoot how the coaching search went.

No Alleva is not incompetent very shrewd business guy. So you have the TAF, Big daddy Dale, Collins, and Alleva they all want different coaches, and Alleva knows if he slow plays the coaching search then it knocks out the TAF and the other big money guys, by screwing up the so-called wade deal you can playcate to the others and go after the guy Alleva wanted in the first place. See who he hired as the head football coach, the guy he wanted all along.

I'm a pilot and Chemtrails are real!! I always forget to turn that damn switch off below 10,000 every time. So what you are telling out of 150+ Football head coaches both college and NFL. Coach O was the best choice out there? If you can honestly say yes your crazier than me.

Dude, Dale & Collis didn't want JJ fired to begin with. So you can count them out of the equation altogether.

The rest of your theory? No comment.

Ed orgeron could be the most successful coach in lsu history and it's still wouldn't justify the process in which a career position coach was given the HC job while never having success as a coordinator or head coach.

Aaaaaaannnnnd....... That's all folks. Thanks for coming out. Be sure to tip your waitresses.

I am done with people. People are fricking morons.

What? How many times do you think lsu's can be successful when our AD hires a HC that has never even run a successful side of the ball, let alone a successful program.
If Ed Orgeron is really successful it will be because Alleva got lucky.
No other AD in cfb thought enough of Coach O's coaching to even interview him for a DC position.

Yeah im a moron because I realize that the hiring of a HC that has never ran a successful offense, defense , or program isnt a blueprint for success long term.

How many times can our AD hire a coach that has zero experience being a successful coordinator or head coach and it works out?

Outside of Dabo Sweeney( Dabo wasnt 55 years old and when he was hired at Clemson they hadn't finished in the top 20 since 2000 and hadn't won a conf title since 1991 and he was also the play caller during his interim tenure)please let me in on all these career position coaches that have had success moving straight to HC.

No big 6 program,in modern cfb,has promoted a position coach to a HC without having been a coordinator or successful HC.

The closest one is Mike Dubose at bama and he was actually the DC the year before being hired at bama.
Bama also immediately regretted the move because he had 2 losing seasons in 4 years and only once won more than 4 conf games.

Illinois, NC State and Washington have all gone and hired their new coaches without any drama. Indiana's target is probably still in the Tournament, but expect them to make an announcement soon.

While LSU and Alleva are dilly dallying around waiting for everybody good to be picked up so they dont have to make an effort!!

Our football hiring process was a clown show no matter how O does.

Maybe...but it def still gauls you with the way your boy was tossed aside like so much unwanted garbage. You dont want LSU to be successful and Rick sounds the same way. You only care about being able to say I told you so.

So the process was fricked up....would you expect anything less from JA?

If Miles hadnt been such a cotton-headed ninny mongin', hed still be here fricking up our program and meddling with the offense. All he had to do was make slight modifications to the O......but noooooo.....much too pig-headed for his own good.
