Illinois, NC State and Washington have all gone and hired their new coaches without any drama. Indiana's target is probably still in the Tournament, but expect them to make an announcement soon.

While LSU and Alleva are dilly dallying around waiting for everybody good to be picked up so they dont have to make an effort!!

I agree with this frustration but all of those are more desirable jobs than LSU. I would say that LSU is last choice of any open power 5 job for any coach. It sucks but I mean we don't even have your regular inside sources on this coaching search, anywhere.

Maybe he's actually trying to get this one right. Remember the last hire we "rushed" to?

You should get out more

He's going to wait until all vancanies are filled. Then, when a coach is left without a job and wants one, he can tell Alleva that he's always wanted to be at LSU. Alleva hires him and says this is the guy he wanted all along.

He's a fricking joke.

So Indiana is waiting for a coach in the tournament to lose but you can say, with 100% certainty, that LSU is not?

You're a fricking idiot.

So with football, he fricked up because "rushed the hire when there was no need to" and now he's fricking up because he's not acting fast enough. Nevermind that the first weekend of the tournament isn't even over yet. Sheesh.

Not a fan of any of the hires you listed. Maybe underwood to Illinois.

At least they flew to Richmond to meet Wade, if they get fricked over , such is life, you move on to the next guy. We have no idea what's going on with this search, and that could be a good thing.

He very well may screw it up again but I will reserve judgement until the hire is made. Its the only logical thing to do. Do I have confidence in him making this hire? Nope but one can hope

Illinois, NC State and UW are desirable jobs. The men's basketball coach at LSU is 4th string to football, baseball and gymnastics

We waited in football and what did Alleva give us in his fricked up search? A DL coach whose only SEC HC experience was a historic Old Miss clusterfrick.

I don't understand how any LSU fan can be satisfied with this guy's coaching hires or PR ability. He fricked over Duke, he has missed on three basketball hires at LSU, he fricked up whatever went on in 2015 with the Jimbo BS, the football hiring process was a clown show, and he badly managed the Florida shite this season.

The real question is why hasn't the guy already been lynched?

let's wait it out. And I don't think JA will be here past 2020, end of his contract. But if he is and/or is extended before then, what are you going to do? Stop watching LSU athletics no matter how well the teams perform or not? Write letters and spend no money on LSU athletic items? Feel like LSU and its administration has given you and other disgruntled fans the middle finger?

Guess what? If you are not in top 100 TAF they don't give a chiite about you. There will be enough support to go around and MOST money does not talk. Only the money that matters to the powers that be. That is just the facts Jack. So, go ahead and pout y'all. Or, you can sit back and enjoy the games and find out what coaches are hired or fired now and in the futre.

Going by his historical pattern as Director of Athletics at the State University of Louisiana, this scenario is most likely.

Maybe the planets will align and he'll get it right this time.

A squirrel can find an acorn at night occasionally when there's a full moon out.

(All the pathetic pumper people out trying to defend this joker is amusing stuff though; well not really amusing, but most of yall know what I mean)
