No kool aid just cheering for my team instead of being negative as shite before the sun comes up.

Yes losing a generational talent at corner against the air raid sucks arse but McGlothern is a hell of a player in his own right.
You are smoking crack.
MSU has some big WRs that can out physical defensive backs. I’m fact, that’s exactly what they are coached to do. These WR are taught how to read defenses and exploit coverages and mismatches. Anyone other than Stingley or Ricks is a liability.

It doesn’t matter what offense you run if the defense can consistently hit the quarterback
LSU had FIVE (5) sacks and 7 TFLs in the game vs. MSU last season. They forced 2 fumbles and intercepted 2 passes.
Mississippi State scored 44 points and threw for a record 623 yards
LSU had 4 sacks and 9 TFLs vs UCLA. The Bruins still put up 38 points on 470 yards of total offense
So no, just hitting the QB isn't enough. Your sack on first down for a loss of 7 doesn't mean shite if on second down you blow a coverage and give up a gain of 33 yards.
LSU was among the SEC leaders in sacks and TFLs last season...they STILL had the 2nd worst defense in the SEC and one of the worst in the nation. Getting to the QB is GREAT...but you also have to be able to play at the second and third level of the defense....something O seemingly has yet to figure out

To hinge a season on one corner back means there are hideous depth issues behind that one guy you are hinging the season on.
