I've met him twice, and he is a super nice guy. Everything I've heard about him is 100% positive. Never heard anyone say a thing negative about him as a man. Seeing his recent interviews on TV makes me feel just as bad as losing games.

FML, I'd hate to see him go out like this. It's upsetting with the amount of effort and heart he puts into the kids and the program. The numbers just aren't right, and it's a damn shame the season has unfolded like it has. I'll give it to yall that the games are boring now, but damn, I wish he would've made some adjustments.

Now I hate losing as much as anyone else, but he deserves all of the support we've got....no matter if he steps down or not.

he's made a ton of money and won a NC.. something his mentor never had. I think he'll be fine.

No, some people a huge douchebags.

I think it may be the time to move on, but some people are just fricking a-hole about a guy who has won a ton of games, a national championship, been a good face of the school and the football program, and overall is a good guy.

While we all clamor for a coach that won a never suspended a player accused of rape, and who shoplifted.

I really hope Miles steps down and stays around the program, but the Mad Hatter fire that he had throughout his career doesn't seem to be there anymore. It's time to move on.

And I've heard some negative things about him. He's just a normal guy, that isn't producing at the expected level at his job and needs to be replaced. It's nothing personal against him

I honestly don't think he cares as much about the money as he does the program. He'll probably take the money, but I wouldn't be completely shocked if he turned it down

I'm with you. Honestly, 3-4 years ago, it'd have been a lot easier to just see Les go. Now, its a difficult thing to reconcile.

He time is up. His flukie goofy manner worked for awhile and his luck is dry. I don't feel sorry for him one bit. It's business... He's a big boy and should understand that he has made his bed. So, as Les would say "See 'ya".

He deserves respect and treated with dignity with everything he has done for LSU in the last 11 years.

Screw em, LSU will be better without him. Don't forget how he let a thug POS back on the team after stomping someone's fricking face in the ground, then threw Lee on the bench to watch us lose out the biggest game of the season.

If money wasn't a thing, then he wouldn't have used Arkansas to get that raise. He is going to take his money he's not that nice.

Remember that time he held us hostage for more money and threatened to go to Ark?
Business decisions...nothing more

I do. I feel worse for the players.

My father was from Boston, I grew up and am still till this day a huge Red Sox fan. He was also a ND grad. I watched a lot of ND football growing up. I am a LSU grad, I've watched a bunch of LSU football. I am also old enough to remember the Boston Massacre, pre-Lou Holtz, and Mike Archer. I know about collapses. I know what one looks like. This is a collapse.

With that perspective, it's really hard to have Miles at the top of the list for sympathy, even empathy given all he had to work with.

I'm so sick of this miles nice guy shite. He shite on us twice for more fricking money and extensions. It would have been 3 times if it wasn't for making the championship game in '07. He wasn't going to Arkansas. Are you flicking kidding me. He played out stupider AD and he fell for it. Yep he's super nice. frick him

I appreciate what he has done for the university. I've enjoyed the success he has brought to the football team, but its time to move on. If anything I wish he could have gone out like Frank Beamer. I do not feel bad for him. The man has made a lot of money and ton of success. Good luck to him and his family.

I doubt many thought he'd be here for 11 yrs. typically, you don't want to be the guy who replaced a legend (Sabsn). You want to be the guy who replaces him (Miles). I think it's safe to assume that his longevity has exceeded most people's expectations.

He's a big boy. He had every single chance given to him to change his approach. He told everyone FY and stayed on his own course. Too stubborn to realize the game has passed his ideology by.
He took a raise
He has been awarded all money every time he's asked
We purchased whey coach he wanted

It is on him, and only him. He begged to be exactly where he is, so no, I feel bad for us, not him. We are the ones left holding the ticket.

Nah, I feel for the guy. I think he's doing all he can, but something is wrong with him (physically)
