I would prefer to just call him Whit Weeks, but since he plays D and his number is 40, just call him “WD 40”.

Although I don’t find Honkey Badger offensive in the least, the “k” seems to throw off the flow. Plus you’d never get the media to run with it. Maybe “Whip” Weeks as a non-animal moniker. Animal choice would be some kind of raptor like Osprey. Or just call him Rooster. King of the roost
