Then wiliford will assume the josh d/ t bob role
I prefer to call it the Ryan Miller/Rudy Niswanger role, since they were actually good.
ETA: I forgot Williford was only a junior, thought he was a senior. I don't think he's terrible. He's not nearly the liability that Lyle Hitt and T-Bob were.

He was definitely not a step back from Williford last night. He looked like he tired a little on the longer drives....his game conditioning will get better fast with enough reps...then look out!

I'd like to know why he wasn't starting before...
extremely rare that a redshirt freshman would take a starting job from an incumbent on the o-line for game 1. As a first-year player, a half a season can make a big difference in being ready to take the reins. This is typically the time of year you see a guy step in for an injured starter and never give the job up.

Dude was waving purple flag after game like a boss.

Agree, they were beasts! I was very concerned about how they would play going in.... The thing I liked the most about them is it looked like they were having fun. If they can bring a personality with a little confidence to the offense we could be dangerous. It would appear they are fearless, and that bodes well for the team.
Props also to J Hill, he looks like all the RBs combined into one.....
Can't wait to watch again tonight.

He def was a beast but needed a bigger jersey.
After every play it seemed like I could see his whole jelly roll

Turner's high school film was impressive as hell too. I was anxious to see him get pt, that 2011 class was fricking insane

Impossible for him to be better than wiliford since wiliford started over him
Or maybe, just maybe.... a fan like yourself would be calling for miles head for starting a freshman over a sr. I get it, you dont like our head coach.

Turner and Alexander will be beastly in the future. They kind of already are.
Yes....and leave them in

I beat Trai Turner and Jonah Austin's St. Aug team with a game winning field goal as time expired their senior year (also my senior year) in high school.
59-56
So by default I >>> Trai Turner and Jonah and also Leonard Fournette who was a Freshman on that team
Great game from Trai last night, frick it GREAT game from our ENTIRE O-Line

Imagine that OL with Faulk at LT.
Now realize that is the starting '13 line.
Is it time for another stacked, fricked reference?

Check out Turner around the 7:40 mark in the second if y'all have it recorded. He launches the defender. Primarily the defender's momentum, still, good stuff!

Bump for the evening crew. Curious about some other opinions on this guy.

I was the last player he played against in high school. Him and Jonah Austin were extremely dominant at St Aug

So u were the West Jeff kicker. That was a game where nobody played defense.
