There was pressure to fire Miles because influential people who care about football wanted him gone. The influential people who care about basketball (Collis Temple and Dale Brown) want Jones to be the coach.

Alleva hasn't fired JJ because he doesn't give a shite about basketball, which is just yet another reason we need a new AD.

He didn't hire Les, but he did hire Jones. He wants to give Jones the chance to turn it around. He didn't want to give Les that same chance. Which is another reason Alleva should be fired. One of many reasons.

On paper thats correct. But everyone knows Alleva was bullied into hiring Jones. Alleva was forced into a corner and didnt have a way out.

Alleva is the AD. If he cant handle the different pressures of the job to make good hires, he needs to be gone.
