Leach was awesome last night. It took him a while to recruit the right players but he has them now. O will need to do the same thing. I'm not a Mat Canada fan. I think Ensminger should be our OC

Leach is a wild man. Big time programs are going to steer clear of him because he's unpredictable.

The excuse that was used was that he treated Craig James' son (backup TE who rarely played but was a pretty big recruit by TTU standards) badly by telling him to go spend practice in an equipment room w/ no lights on (essentially a big closet with A/C). According to internet rumors (and an actual teammate in an interview from years ago) he was really hungover and didn't want to practice. Leach knew this and make him sulk him in a closet for a few hours. James' has been called a locker room cancer by lots of teammates publicly.
The real reason he got run out of town was that he was getting paid a ton of money (by TTU standards), had never won the Big 12, and can be difficult to deal with and TTU thought they could do better (Tommy Tuberville had already been interviewed on the side).
There were some emails leaked to the media between the president and the AD that took place a year before he was fired basically outlining how they were planning to railroad him for something and use it as an excuse to fire him without paying the buyout. There is a threat on the CFB reddit I was reading this morning. They have links and everything. I'm too lazy for that.

no freakin way. that guy is straight up crazy. every day that he doesn't wreck that program is a miracle. it's only a matter of time. anyone saying they want him is just not thinking rationally
