Although I would tend to believe that the player involved in this is Hicks, and that nothing major will come of this, I do have one question. Is Deangelo Benton going to have one of the highest drama/production ratio ever? He is starting to get into Willie Williams territory. We had the whole "will he qualify" here at LSU and the fiasco last year. This year I don't know if he has even caught a pass at AU. He's now 3 years post high school, it is going to be interesting if he is able to stay at AU academically or bolts for the CFL or arena.

Real quick for those of us gettin in late, what are they saying happened on the Hicks side of the allegations?
Everyone should be laughing because either that clown just got his "attorney friend" FIRED, or he is totally full of his own crap (he's an arse clown)
I did always wonder what happened to Molton though. But why would he complain when Randle wasn't getting touches either? Does he think he is better? And would his mother throw LSU under the bus while his best friend was a player there? And wouldn't that make him ineligible for taking the benefits?
It is a BIG deal that anything is self repoted, remember that thru all of the BS going around. It's hard for us to be turned in with receipts if we self reported.

Benton, Molton, Hicks, and Dexter Pratt. Pratt left unexpectedly too - something about confusion over housing. Were promises made that could not be delivered? I wonder if there is a common thread between those 4 players?

1) DJ committed some shenanigans with Hicks. LSU self-reported. Alleva wanted DJ fired immediately, Miles made him wait until the end of the season.
2) Molton became a head case due to a girl. He tried to get back on the team, but the bridge had been burned
3) Nobody snitched on LSU, LSU self reported. The idiot on ESPN is pulling that out of his arse.

The TAF board is meeting on Thursday. The meeting was scheduled before the Arkansas game. My source, a major TAF donor, thought the meeting was about the possibility of buying out Miles' contract if he lost the Arkansas game, and if not...about who to replace Crowton with.
I talked to the source last night, and now he is convinced the meeting is about all of this.
We shall see, I guess.

It's Hicks. Wasn't acedemically qualified and we took him from JUCO anyway. Didn't play him and now have self-reported to the NCAA.
