Certain NCAA violation could threaten Miles' coaching position because of language in the head coach's contract with respect to knowledge of NCAA rules violations. However, Alleva says that is not the case in this situation.

seriously. why don't they just say "per the rant"?

their next update will be 'sources claim that it is either akeem hicks or deangelo benton'

There's no one in Baton Rouge news to trust anymore regarding LSU.

This seems to indicate that Hicks played in one game this year: LINK

Didn't one of the links (ESPN I think) say current student-athlete?

The player has not played all year due to this violation. The school did not want to give up any wins.

Ive heard two stories, one involves Benton and the other involves Hicks. Both regarding McCarthy and an apartment. Guess we'll know soon enough.

Anyone who understands recruiting should know this and it really makes me question whether the guy really knows what he's talking about.

Luckily one Bama fan there figured it out.

These are starting to sound more homoerotic than unethical.

Do coaches get bonuses for getting recruits to sign?

Outside of winning, just wondering why an assistant would risk so much for a JUCO guy it is Hicks

You know stout, if you didn't ask questions like this and just started claiming have knowledge, your post count is high enough that both Bama fans and local new authorities would take whatever you say as fact at this point...
Just a suggestion.

Don't think so. I know that Orgeron used to pay his recruiters if they landed someone big, but that was from his own pocket.
