College football has gone mad. Why are tickets to a regular college football game $600? Can vision the “playoffs” being spread across Paramount, Peacock. Prime Video etc. in the future. It’s all about $$$ and with NIL and Transfer Portal nonsense it’s committing suicide.

For two reasons:
1. Demand is higher than the number of tickets available, so you’re paying secondary market prices
2. Premium seating options

Who cares. You people get your panties in a wad over the littlest stuff.

I think he’s just asking which side to buy tickets on

That means NOTHING whenever LSU is playing on a neutral field and is the designated "home team." Recent examples-- Wisconsin vs LSU, Reliaquest Bowl: LSU was the "home team", had no more than 15-20% of the fans. Florida St vs LSU 2022, New Orleans: LSU was the "home team"; about 40% of the fanbase in attendance. Clemson vs LSU NC game, Jan. 2020: LSU was the home team, about 50% of the fanbase. LSU fans are notorious for their refusal to travel for football games. They read the rant!
And nothing you said is related to thread topic.

Meaningless bowl

LSU will travel well to Vegas. We also traveled well to UCLA & Lambeau

We have a group of 12 going with us and only 2 have made an away game the last ten years. LSU will probably sell their allotment for this game. Wives want to go see Shania in Vegas, men want to gamble, and we get to watch LSU/USC.

Was at this game. NOWHERE near 50/50

This is not true. I am sure the allure of LV will draw LSU and fans of gambling. Plus it is a good game.
I can only speak for myself, I don't ever make games like this. I'm going to this one. With it being the week of my wife's b-day and in Vegas, it made it a no-brainer.

Weird rant. I assumed the OP was trying to figure out which side to purchase tickets on. As such, home and away teams are 100% meaningful.
Calm down.
