I was thinking the exact same thing. It’s a gimmick. And no way am I downloading an app so some guy in the press box controls my phone.

It’s not for you. It’s for the recruits. I don’t care either way but I’m not gonna get asshurt about it if they do decide to do it. It hurts nothing.

They don’t have the LED lights dumbass. They’re just flashing their lights

Eta: Totally different than Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, etc.

It’s a gimmick for scrub teams. Keep it old school in TS. If you want to improve ambiance cancel the piped in rap noise.

Terrible execution, but not an indictment on the technology as a whole

Im sure LSU will have them in the future, but a big waste of money IMO....

The players like them, obviously...

Do something better than LED lights. Just don’t follow but take the next step.

Yea, they should wear leather helmets and we should ride horse drawn carriages to the games too. Moron.

Millennials and younger are all about the cheesy carnival over the top atmosphere. Us GenXers prefer it be stripped down and old school. Loud and drunk with maximum discomfort for the opposing team.

LSU has a top tier media team and I have no doubt that they would be able to put something incredible on display when LEDs do come to Tiger Stadium.

It looks like shite because:
1. Vaught Hemingway sucks
2. Ole Miss media sucks

It’s about the players and recruiting. If LEDs make a better impression on recruits (which they do, believe it or not) then put the dang lights in.
