Our new HC will be in attendance... Recruits will be watching... young players getting an opportunity.

This is the start of a potential all time HIGH.

Nothing in the last 20 years could be considered anywhere near an "all time low" for LSU football

This post by JMACLSU is 100% true and the best argument against bowl games being “meaningless”. Wait until you aren’t in one for 3-4 years and you won’t think they are so meaningless then. Tonight will not be program-defining either way. Games are played to have fun - let’s root for the guys in yellow hats to have fun tonight. It is ok to stop analyzing for 10 minutes and just let life happen.

To quote the Apollo 13 character

"With all due respect sir, this will be our finest hour"

I have never been more proud of a bunch of LSU players than this group right here. They didn't quit, they didn't shy from the challenge. Even if they get blown out. This group deserves every ounce of Tiger Nation Support.

In 1983, LSU was 0-6 in SEC games and 4-7 overall. Afternoon game against Kentucky, I walked by myself from my dorm room at Hatcher Hall across the alley to Tiger Stadium and took a seat without having to bump into anyone or even waiting in line for nachos. It was like walking into a Home Depot. Arguably the worst turn out and atmosphere at an LSU home game.

I choose to view it as the epitome of what college sports is supposed to be about: students out there proudly representing their schools on the playing field for the love of the game, not for the paycheck it may eventually bring.

Without that kind of spirit, we may as well be aTm.

Didn’t we go 2-9 one year?

I like our chances tonight. We don't have the me players or the undisciplined playing. May be short on numbers but they will fight like he'll is my guess.

I consider it a high point. Because we know that the players playing tonight love the game, their school, their fans and have pride.

I'll take that any day.

I am actually more intrigued with having less scholarship players...seeing guys who want to play will be refreshing and I would hate to be KState and lose

I view it as 31 Tigers along with coaches that are committed to LSU playing their best to win a football game. I'll support them no matter what.

100% agree with this

Even with the clusterfrick that is this game, this is still better than the entire Curley era.

Those teams at least featured fully allotted scholarship team of players.

And still were more poorly managed and coached. And that isn’t propping up O in any way, shape or form. You are just objectively incorrect.
