I'd probably cheer for any team in the world against notre dame except bama. I love the sec but Bama ending the streak in a lose would be just what the doctor orderED for me. Sorry you are alone on this one. FRICK BAMA

And back to my point - how fricking ridiculous would it have been if an Ohio State University hadn't been under suspensio this year and it would have been ND vs OSU in the MNC. Imagine how pissed the SEC would be (at least me) that a one loss SEC team didn't get in over an undefeated from one of the shite conferences.

Well, when you consider that the team would have been Bama, who only beat one ranked team (LSU) before the SECCG and lost the other (aTm) AT HOME, then I don't know how upset as a fan of the sport I would be.

What was OSU's regular season schedule as compared to Bama's and ND's? How much easier was it? For an SEC team, Bama has had some rediculously easy schedules in 2011, 2012, and then again next year. They are clearly in the driver's seat again next year due to scheduling alone.

THIS. Same thing happened when we played them. I mean the ref was standing there watching the whole thing. And it's not like the refs were taking the attitude of letting them play because the flags came out flying when an LSU player/UGA player did it to one of the Bama players.

And don't get me started on blatant holding that's not called. I'm talking about grabbing the end's arm and tugging to stop him from moving.

Am I crying? Probably. But that's not fun to me to watch. It's why I fricking hate the NBA. It's bullshite. Protect the money makers but then make damn sure and well that the the non money makers get penalized if they fart the wrong way.

Its a lose/lose scenario. I don't want either team to win, though I think Bama will dominate.

I've reached that point, honestly.

When you compromise the health of a teenager/young adult for the benefit of a blatantly corrupt agenda, then you are losing me. I started a thread about this yesterday after it happened. I literally did not watch the rest of the game, and I read how good the game was.

Doesn't matter to me. The SEC and the football programs will continue to make millions, if not billions, no matter if Bama wins or not. Why they allow the players to get mauled to benefit one team is beyond me. Not all of these kids will go on to be millionaires in the NFL.

And don't get me started on the holding either. I mute the TV when watching games, but it appeared again CBS was highlighting the great work of Barret Jones. That kid literally holds every play and it is not called. I bet CBS was praising him while showing him cheating, all the while bug eyes AND the umpire are watching it all happen.

Couple this with easy schedules and it is becoming too predictable for me. I won't be shelling out thousands on season tix next year. I'll just sit at home and change the channel when it gets ugly.

notre dame has not won shite in 20 years. bama is on the verge of winning 3 out of the last 4 NC's. we have to play bama each year and recruit against them. you are clueless. go back to bed kid.

And like I said last night, the damage is done for that.

Saying you played 3 in the last 4 titles is not really different of a recruiting pitch than saying you won 3 of last 4

No it's a null loss either way at this point.

Losing the SEC streak is another matter....

Um, no. There is nothing SEC about it when Saban will be winning 3 of the last 4. The last 4 coming from the state of alabama. This SEC streak is over...call it the Saban streak for now on.

There really isn't much of a difference recruiting wise to be able to say you've won 3 of 4 and you've been to 3 of 4 winning 2. LSU actually gets a cut of the BCSNCG money. It's better for Bama to win as much as I hate to say it.

How many times do you people have to hear this before you realize it's true? There is NOTHING good for LSU that comes from Bama winning the NC every year. We recruit head-to-head against Bama, NOT Notre Dame! All LSU fans should be pulling for the Irish.

so we can use that $$$$$ to lull recruits away from Sabans pitch about his titles?
