Screw that - it won't be about the SEC anymore, it will be about Bama only.
Go Irish.
Go Irish.

I would pull for anything in this world over Alabama. Don't care about SEC loyalty and frankly, neither should you. We recruit against them

I agree with the poster. Although I am no Bama fan.
It is about the SEC!!!! A bama wins helps us all next year in the rankings.
Last night one of the ESPN guys all but said ND would win the game!

I'd pull for Bama if they hadn't gotten the mulligan last year. Go Irish.

As much as I hate ND, I will pull for any SEC school in the BCSNCG, except Bama.

If it were Georgia yea. I hope Ala. loses. I can't stand to see them continue to win BCS championships at our expense. We should be there! Damn!

I'll agree with this poster a bit. For one, I at least respect Bama's program (regardless of their fan loyalty to beiber haircuts) and who they have beaten this year. You give ND's cupcake schedule to half the SEC teams and they're almost 100% guaranteed to win out.

While I sympathize with LSU's dilemma, and can remember the "war Ducks!" shirts that popped up here when Auburn played Oregon, it's in LSU'S interests to root for the Sec, particularly with the coming playoff system. The perceived strength of the conference will be critical for the 2nd or 3rd SEC team that could qualify for the playoff.

Like my mathematician friends, I am "pulling" for one -- just one -- offensive holding call ag. the Ala. oline -- my friends tell me it is a mathematical impossibility to run the ball 60+ times and not get called for holding once. Particularly when I see an impressive array of half-nelson holds, jersey grabs, etc. in living color.

Lakefront Tiger. I know that you are trying to be cute, but you should be ashamed of yourself. My mother had two cousins die in that plane crash. Didn't anyone ever tell you to never wish harm on anyone else?

No.
Bama is defined for me in one play yesterday:
The cheap shot on the UGA QB with the ref five feet away watching it all happen.
Screw those easy schedule, corrupt officiating, mulligan needing pricks. LOL
Those factors above are turning our conference into a joke in order to satisfy the group that runs the SEC. SEC football is turning into WWF style BS.
After that play, I tuned out and won't watch another down of Bama football again until we play them in Tuscaloosa. It is all too predictable anyway, and I can tell you what will happen in 2013:
Bama romps through another rediculously easy schedule while teams like LSU, aTm, UF, UGA, and USCe beat each other up with real conference schedules. LSU goes to BDS, wins, but the powers that be in the SEC/ESPN determine the win just wasn't good enough. Bama gets another Mulligan, or gets in over LSU in the SECCG due to the fact LSU loses to a tougher schedule.
It is all so predictable and to the point where it is laughable.
I won't be watching Bama stomp ND. Everyone knows this will happen. Congrats to them, though, and more power to them.
