I don't care where he plays as long as he plays with all out effort.

Reed never got the chance, so you have no idea.

Why would you move the guy that towards the end of the season was looking like our best all around running back?

Exactly. He's a very good RB.

He needs to be, he's tall enough and killer in the open field, he could make more plays as a receiver and we need another receiver. He should be able to pick up route running pretty quick with his ability to cut. He definitely won't be a pro as a RB so he might as well try it.

"most believe he will move because of hill. Reed was a RB before moving to WR. Reed was quick in the open field, but Blue has about the same speed and more size.
The major difference is all D's have learned how to defend the bubble screen."

It's easy to defend when that's 93.2% of your passing game and you know the offense is 80% either giving it to the RB or running it with Jefferson. If you see LSU in trips, you know what's coming. LSU's probably the only team in the country the past 4 years that threw the ball behind the line of scrimmage more than past the line of scrimmage.

"I just don't see this happening at all. We have plenty of receivers, all of whom have been playing the position longer than Blue, and most of whom have been in the system there for a couple of years already. But I'd be for it if the coaches deem it a good fit. But I doubt it."

We might think we have a lot of receivers but there are only 2 that have significant playing time and one of those is Shepard who I really wouldn't even count.

Reed was a very good route runner. Insanely good at getting separation from defenders.

I like Blue as a RB. LSU was very fortunate to have no injuries in the RB spot this year.....that usually isn't the case. Hopefully noone gets hurt this year, but if it happens it will be nice to have the depth to not miss a beat.

Better option would be to RS Hill so he would get 2 years as a prime RB.

Dead serios, Love this guy. . My buddies and I yell every time "you my boy blue". Considering what he has been through and his respect for opportunity, I think he has cemented himself as a favorite of the people.
I hope he excels at whatever position he plays at and makes lots of $$$$ in the pro's. I want him to be utilized to his potential. Landry and Beck are our 2 best returning and Landry didn't play a lot last year. Revisit the NC and see when he did play he was open. he is a physical receiver and will be a great tiger before it is all over.
Blue, Beck and Landry at receiver. Feel sorry for Shep for not being panning out yet. I hope for his sake he does this season.
Mett will be the key to all of this madness
