At Fangraphs:

quote:

“I mean, I’m still learning a lot of this stuff; I’m not 100% on everything. But that’s kind of how I use it, how I’ve interpreted the data. I’m not chasing spin. I just want to make sure my axis is right, and that I’m getting top-to-bottom, and not too much horizontal movement on it. The more depth I can get, and the more consistently I can keep it top-to-bottom, the more chance I have to be successful.”

How's Alex doing in his career at the moment? Haven't heard that name in a minute.

Man I miss a 0-2 count with Lange on the bump knowing that nasty arse breaking ball was about to hurt someone’s feelings.

Would have liked to see it against TCU in game 1 of the 2015 CWS

I'd lost track of him as well. It looks like Detroit shifted him to the bullpen, which has helped his progress, and expectations are he should get called up at some point this year

Must feel like an eternity for the minor league guys to miss all of last season. Lange was in the minors starting in 2017, and got up to AA in 2019.
