I have some friends on the team and they all say that some of the guys think they are gods gift to baseball and that they can beat these weaker teams by just showing up.They say the worst one is tyler moore.

They had roughly the same BA (.368/.369), Trea had 1 more HR, a higher SLG%, higher OBP, almost double the SB (16/30) and plays a much better Defense. That's taking nothing away from Bregman, but Turner is possibly a top 5 pick in the draft. He has the glove to stay at SS in the bigs, while Bregs will need a move to 2B.
I see Bregs being remarkably similar to Aaron Hill in the MLB, which is a great thing. Turner is probably a very poor man's Tulo, which is still an asset.
If Bregman could've remained at C, I would have no doubt he would be a top 5 pick in 2015. But teams know he won't stay at SS, so he'll go late 1st Rd.

I have friends that have played with tyler on travel ball teams and say that he is a huge baby and dosent really work hard, my buddies on the team this year say the same thing about him.

Bregman was 1st team AA over Turner, and won the Brooks Wallace award (nations best SS) over Turner.

He got the LSU treatment (similar to the bama/ND/USC treatment in CFB).
Trea was better in every statistical category except Batting average by .001. I do know Trea Turner is a top 5 pick this year in the MLB draft and Bregman will not be a top 5 pick in the MLB draft in '15.

Getting kids to play for the team and not themselves is trite? I coach baseball for a living and the kid is spot on. There is a huge entitlement culture and it's a big problem. It's becoming more and more difficult to get kids to buy into the team concept. Nothing trite or trivial about what he said AT ALL.
