South Carolina has some nice renovations too. That is where Paul went too.

I heard from one of the guys that roll out the tarp on rainy days, that they are moving the Right Field Bullpen to Left Field, and will move the Left Field Bullpen to Right Field. All dirt for the pitching mounds will be replaced with new dirt.

Texas A&M just approved 80 million in upgrades.
You guys need to accept the fact that Texas A&M has a lot more donors who donate a lot more than LSU does. Now throw in the fact that athletic departments are having to pay players - taking money away from construction projects. Texas A&M will always be able to outbuild LSU. But $80 million for a college baseball stadium? What are they doing? Lining the dugouts with gold? Bubble machines for everyone?
But I do agree that LSU can do things like replacing bleachers with chairback seats.

I’m not trying to compare us with a&m dollars. I’m stating that basically, this is what your competition is doing.
Their park was small. Total seating (actual seats) is only like 6500. It’s going to be 10+ now. They will also have a concourse completely continuous around the stadium.
We don’t have to spend 80 million. We can’t. But do something more than field level seating and bullpen relocation. We are going to fall further and further behind until we dedicate some funding and planning to get ahead of these things now.
If I were Scott Woodward, I’d already be planning on how downsize seating in TS by adding chair backs like an NFL stadium. College stadiums are bloated and overstuffed with empty seats 6-7 games per year. Only one game may be a true packed house. 103 could be 83k with a hell of a lot more comfortable seating. More likely to have added in those seats weekly. Get ahead of the game, don’t be the last one to change

In general, I think we should be prioritizing quality over quantity but we’ve long had a brain dead administration when it comes to infrastructure and capital projects.

That is not going to happen. According to LSU, the fans WANTED bleachers. I don't remember that survey.
The Fans Never Wanted Bleachers! (maybe someone really over weight might rather bleachers) No Humor intented .. I don't remember that survey either.

To be fair, u fit more people in with bleachers instead of chairman's. But chairbacks are nicer[/quote]
To be CHEAP, u piss more people off -- offering bleachers instead of Chair backs.. It was a Failure to do it Right the first time by LSU with a weak "build it and they will come" outlook. The Fan Experience must be looked at soon.
