Go back in time a month and not give Miles that raise. Alleva should have told him you want to go to Arkansas, go. But if you are staying at LSU you won't see a penny increase in salary until the offense isn't ranked near 100th anymore.

I agree, it's pretty pathetic how obsessed our fans are with Alabama.

This.

Whats even more pathetic is that our fans are so blind they can't see that what is being done at Bama right now is an historic run. It will probably never be duplicated. 3 out of 4. 4 out of 8 if you count his last year at LSU.

People act like this is what should happen and is expected at LSU. NO ONE should expect this type of run or success. I don't believe any other coach has ever won 3 out of 4 AP national championships at one school and we are acting like that SHOULD be us. No one is on the level of Alabama right now with the success they are having. Face it. It is what it is. They are on a different level. What people miss is that LSU is still an elite program, however, our crappy fan base acts like we are the bottom feeders of the SEC and will never ever win another national championship again.

Alabama NC's because Saban makes adjustments ! All we need is a legit OC to be there with them. Our defense will always be strong because of Chavis but our "O" will remain mediocre until Miles pride gives in to the reality of the situation. Miles is a good coach BUT he is Hard-headed to a fault. A good coach ,I mean a great coach should not allow his pride (ego)to run his program. It's not about him,but about the program. :beatdeadhorse:

And how does that prevent Alabama from wining another title?

What if the offense is rated say....50th but the team loses 5 games, does he still get the $$$$?

But of course we can't go back in time, can we? So how do we move forward from this disaster? What's YOUR solution?

You mad? Don't be such a bitch.

I have stated this numerous times. Hire an OC and let him run the offense. I have never said we need to replace Miles.

Why do some of you refuse to want to improve as a team? Accepting mediocrity on offense seems to be the exact opposite of what a good LSU fan would want for their team.

So then Miles should be less hard headed than Saban? That is the solution?

Miles should be more humble, like Saban, who of course has no ego?

Well I already said what I would have done. But if you are asking me what would I do today, probably tell Miles his expectations are now increased. He's got 3 years to win another title or he'll be needing another job.

Had nick saban never gone there. They would not be good, hence we would probably be having a dynasty. So yes that is why I hate the ever living shite out of him and that school.

I'm wondering if bama will somehow overdose on all of this success.
