If 'if' was a 5th we'd all be drunk. The fact is they are out playing LSU on defense, offense, hustling for loose balls executing fast breaks, and getting wide-open shots.... all of that is no accident. They have been doing it consistently against decent teams. That my friend is a sign of good coaching.

Will Wade and O. See to hire Les Miles. He’s the only coach with a consistent track record of stopping offenses.

Defense could definitely improve, but you do realize it’s hard for teams to shoot 80% from the FT line, with no one guarding them.
Heck teams don’t shoot 80% from the line at practice.

Many teams shoot a higher FG% when they play LSU. It’s because of poor defensive philosophy, bad on ball defense and bad rotations. It’s not an accident.

When is the last time you’ve seen an LSU team that had the mindset you described? When was there a team that hustled and played defense well? I know more about basketball than you probably ever will fool. Aside from establishing the almighty “defensive mindset” You speak of when our recruits walk into campus, what defensive system would you implement or develop over the course of the season to be effective against someone shooting 7/8 from 3pt line?? The other team is hitting shots WHEN CONTESTED mind you. Y’all are foolish to keep spouting this “play better defense” bullshite

This was also the narrative the past two seasons. Along with inconsistent effort.
