They won't. They'll shite their pants.

You mean like the Shepard Pass last year in Ttown that is he stays on his feet is a TD? What about the Ford run that was called back? Yea.... you're right. Bama just doesn't give up big plays.
Posted on 10/31/12 at 3:36 pm to Riseupfromtherubble

Idk if Bama has given up a big play for a touchdown or not, but I seem to recall a 70 yard reception which took Michigan to the 1 yard line. And Jeremy Hill had a TD run of 50 yards in th USCe game.
There may be other examples which further support my point but these are the two I can immediately recall.

the hill run vs SC and mett throw vs aTm come to mind, but I was thinking more along the lines of a snap or two into the series from 50 yards away
so a 50 yard TD is only a big play if it comes early in the drive?
go back to the secrant you dumbass.

What does last year's different lsu offense and this years different alabama defense have to do with this argument?

this year they haven't, and they've played teams with more quick strike capability than lsu. I said I would be surprised if it happened, I didn't say it won't happen. What's your deal?

He's revising what he "meant" now.
The point is big plays can come at the hands of any team vs any team. It happens every single weekend. And you'd be "surprised" by this?

You said Bama doesn't give up big plays, im simply pointing out they have before.
You are absolutely right though, Bama never gives up big plays and LSU doesn't make them. I am not even sure why we would play the game. I honestly cant understand why they wouldn't just save the money and let you guys stay home. I mean, never ever ever ever ever has a team that is prone to NOT give up big plays, actually given up big plays. I am calling to cancel my hotel room right now because if Bama doesn't give up a big play then how is anyone in the Unites States (Texans and Bears included) supposed to ever beat Alabama.

You've played 2 teams with anything near "quick strike" capability. Arky and Tenn.
I don't think I have to commen on the quality of those opponents VS the one you'll face Saturday.

Well it hasn't happened to alabama, so yes a big play by the lsu offense would surprise me. Many people feel the same way, i'm not sure why you're getting so offended

it's pretty clear now that you can not differentiate between "won't happen" and "surprised if it happens"
There are hundreds of posters on this site that would be surprised right there with me

They might end up falling forward from a mysterious push in the back.

So a 70 yard pass from Michigan and a 45 yarder from Tenn, both of which ended up inside your 5 and both of which came vs your defensive starters, aren't "big plays"?
I'm not offended at all. Your arrogance is just astounding.

denard robinson has more 20 yard runs in his career than anyone in CFB by a wide margin.
Alabama didn't give up any big plays to those teams so I'd be surprised if they gave up big plays to lsu. Are you saying lsu is more capable of a big play than the above mentioned? Have we been watching the same lsu offense?
Sure it's possible, this is football after all. I would be surprised by it though

As long as it's a quick one....because I'd like to see it be a part of a long run/pass play for a TD!

both of which inded
So 2 plays out of 300+ plays means I should just expect alabama to give up a big play, rather than be surprised by it? Tell me more. Alabama also had 3 possession leads when those big plays happened

I hope we run the motherfrickin kickoff back on their end. I would punt the ball in the stands toward those frickers

Yep, he said as much on the show when someone asked him if he was going to be on Gameday and all he said was that is all he could say. He will be the guest picker.
Wish they would have got Updyke out there.

And they all happened in the first half. You can sell your bullshite "dominance" of opponents somewhere else, man. You have played a total of 1 "good" team this year, and I'm not so sure they're very good at the moment. This false sense of vast superiority might cause you to be "surprised" this weekend.
