I still don't like it but we've gotten 2 outs tonight that would have been hits without the shift.

Just want to point out that the shift worked there, because these threads gain 3 pages in 2 minutes when they don't work.

The shift is just a play on percentages. Like everything else in baseball, it’s not supposed to work every time.
