Guys, we just have to face it; we’ve got one, ONE, reliable pitcher and a bull pen that is hit or miss. A pitching staff that is totally unreliable. We have a bunch of HR hitters and a just a few reliable contact hitters that we can rely on for a run scoring base hit. We score runs in bunches and HAVE TO to win games.
I just don’t see this team win it all. The pitching will do us in if we make Omaha. If you have ONE pitcher that can consistently throw strikes when absolutely needed, we don’t have a staff that can win it all. It’s not like it’s early in the season and CJJ should NOT still be experimenting. This “team” is just not there yet. Right now, IMO, we are last year’s Tennessee.
