The whole smiling thing stood out to me, too. It could have had nothing to do with the convo with PM, but it was really awkward to see Crews smiling like that. He's been stone faced all year and just kind of laughed through the last few pitches of that at bat. I'll take the high road and think he was humored by the ump's calls on 3-0 and 3-1.

This feels like the end. Unless the Tigers somehow get red-hot in the SEC tourney (not likely), the team's tournament days are over for 2021.

I think it depends on other teams like Kentucky, Georgia, and how bama does against miss st. If we finish 8th our case is much better at 13-17 than if we are 10th

Time to tell it like it is. We aren’t recruiting enough good hitters. We have too many guys that aren’t up to the task and a hitting coach can do just so much.
We are lacking in our upper classes for sure. We do have better sticks in this freshmen class which is encouraging.
