The standard Big-10 argument. To paraphrase, "When the athleticism and speed of SEC players is inhibited by snow, rain, and absurd (boarding on negligent) field conditions, Big-10 teams can compete and occasionally eek out a two-point win."

That's not an argument. That's your take on the matter. No self respecting Big 10 fan would ever say that. They beat us on the field, alleviating the need for a verbal argument. You are the one making the standard argument that our loss was a misleading one.

I hear what you're saying. Good point.

Allow me to revise. The Big-10 argument is, "Come play in the snow," which is tantamount to saying, "Come play where you won't be faster than us."

How does that not support his point? He said take out the last 8 or so years.

Easily. Take out the last 8 or so years and we still have 7 conference championships and were in contention for more. That is traditional relevance. Penn State success as an independent against Little Sisters of the Poor in the 70's and 80's is crap. They were the Boise State of that time, with Joe Pa bitching about never getting a shot. When they played high school teams. You can do the same thing to them and say take out the 90s and you aren't traditionally relevant. It's a crap assertion.

That Video would make me quit being a fan of the program, if I was a Penn State supporter! Pure Ugly!

All that matters is the now. Your fricking progam is not on the same level as LSU. Its just that simple. Live in the past. Hell I would to if I were a penn state. You have got nothing to look foward to. LSU on the other hand will keep producing.

I don't think he realises the more he hangs on to that win the more he legitimizes the program he's trying to denigrate.

Ahhh, I hope you had not all but forgotten about Joe Paterno pooing in his pants during a game. Or the classic "I am having trouble hearing ya Maday" quote which was one of the funniest interviews I have ever heard. Guy was literally screaming through the phone to try to communicate to Grandpa Joe.

How in the world is a person still thinking about a bowl game that occured that long ago. The Cap One bowl no less.

I guess it is kind of like the old guy that still talks about the hit he got off Nolan Ryan...while they were in little league.

What happened back then, happened. So be it.

I'd love to get Penn State in a home and away series.

The first video is pretty embarrassing. That's as bad as it gets.

But the Corey video is hysterical . I can only imagine the guy's thinking, "You know what I'm about 8 beers deep. I think it's time I body slam the table."
