yeah, LSU had no nc's or "bcs" bowl appearances prior to 2000. I don’t think there was a bowl appearance prior to 2000. Living in Oklahoma I hear this type of shite all the time. It’s funny how many people claim to know about college football, yet they have no clue. I’m not saying LSU is like Bama, ND, or Oklahoma traditionally, but they are far from mediocre.

I've heard so much bad about that game that I never sat down to watch it. Same with the ole miss debacle. (I was deployed for both.) Maybe someday.

What's with these northern football team's strategy? They keep these old arse icons hanging around so people don't forget they had some success in the past. When Lou holts and Joepa fall off, how are they going to keep these programs relevant?
